Stage 1 : Basic Garment Pattern making
An intense theoretical class that sets the stage for practical development of garment production and design skills. You will learn measurement taking and the development of the basic garment patterns.
During the Basic garment pattern making training, you will learn to create patterns and control the fit of your garments. You will learn to take accurate measurements using our GINANI measurement system and create the patterns necessary for Skirts, Bodices, Trousers, Sleeves and Collars. Fashion Training class Content: Pattern Making, Sewing and Cutting.

Stage 2: Intermediate
Move on to intense practical pattern making and design, cutting and sewing. Learn the foundational techniques that control garment styling and enable designers to infinitely create unique design and adapt to trends.

Stage 3: Advanced
Move your basic and intermediate skills the next step with an intense pattern making, design and production workshop. Develop garments for couture or/and ready to wear. Focus on use of creative imagination, style development, mastering garment pattern making for production and finishing of garments.

GARMENT PRODUCTION FAST TRACK CLASSES
COMBO 1 - 2 Stages
Basic and Intermediate class combination class
Cover the content of stages 1 and 2.
During the Basic garment pattern making training, you will learn to create patterns and control the fit of your garments. You will learn to take accurate measurements using our GINANI measurement system and create the patterns necessary for Skirts, Bodices, Trousers, Sleeves and Collars. With a solid foundation in fit and construction, you will now move on to styling for creativity. Create aesthetically pleasing garments. Understand the techniques that control garment designing. Create various design for casual, evening and corporate wear. Work with African textiles and western fabrics. Express your own design flair.
Content: Sewing, Cutting, Pattern making, Pattern designing, CAD.

Duration: 3 months
Monday - Friday. 10 am- 2 pm.
COMBO 2 - Three Stages
Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Combination class
Take a combination of stages 1, 2 and 3 in a 6 months 5 days/ week class.
Start from the Basic stage to the advance stage and cover the 3 classes in no time. Become a skilled professional in no time!

SATURDAY CLASS
Basic Pattern making/ Pattern Designing/ Advanced Class
This training is intended to prepare career minded professionals who have passion for the fashion industry and who perhaps are always occupied with their jobs from Mondays to Fridays. The Saturday training is structured in such a such a way that it makes it convenient for them to be properly trained, and affordably too. The schedules for the training are on first, second and third Saturdays of a month only, from the hours of 11:00 am to 3p.m for a period of 4 months.

Need Flexible timing?
For the regular garment production classes stages 1 -3, you are charged a fee for duration of the training. The duration remains the same even when you do not attend your classes.
The self-training pack or the online training will allow you to create your own time-table and work at your own pace. You will not be in a rigid workshop environment. You can train in the comfort of your own home. You still have assess to experts for consultation.
The difference between the self training and the online training is access to the internet for use in training yourself. If your have regular internet access, and can use it for training, tnen you would appreciate the online class. If you cannot rely on internet access for your training then you should choose the self training pack.
You do not have the time or commitment to for a regular class, but you have the self-discipline and passion to handle a training package in the comfort of your own home. The self-Training package is for you. The self training package contains books, macros, videos, training schedules and training aids to enable you take your own training at your own pace.

COURSE CONTENT DESCRIPTION
Pattern Making: Pattern making is scientific and efficient. Pattern making also facilitates mass production since it requires your to make only one pattern which can be used to cut an uncountable number of garments. Once the basic principles of pattern making are understood, you move on to learn the principles of pattern designing, which will enable you to create and infinite number of styles without having to retrain each time.
Pattern making or Freehand? Freehand is based on memorizing shapes so it takes longer to learn and is not precise. It cannot handle changes, so the practitioner easily gets outmoded or has to learn the latest designs all over again. Pattern making on the other hand is a technical process that follows laid down principles that can be learned, applied and reapplied to different styles.
Fashion Design and Illustration: Fashion Design is a more than talent. It is a skill that can be learned. A design is only a concept until it is represented visually so that others can appreciate it too. In our fashion illustration class, you will be taught to reproduce your concepts as illustrations which can be appreciated by anyone and easily understood by a pattern maker.
CAD
Transfer the skill of manual pattern making to the Computer using pattern making software. Constant use and familiarity will make CAD relatively easy and satisfying to use. It will expose you to up to date methods of pattern making, designing and grading using your computer. The use of the computer in any area of endeavor has great advantages. For instance it improves time management, data management and storage, and also reduces the number of people handling various tasks.
As skill develops relative to use, students are advised to do all assignments and practice on their own time in order to maximize the potential of the workshop
